best hybrid show ever.
From 1st episode to the last one it was my favorite series to fill in the shoes left by the orville.
In time it become much more greater than orville and there is no comparison in between.
I loved all the alien derivatives, story and acting within the show,
you'll be missed harry,
take care of your children for us. (and you forgot your pizza)

After 20 years, I've never rated a television show on here
I'm awful at this, so I don't know if this should be in a global review of the series, or just my personal feelings on the series finale (S4E10).
Never before have I seen such amazingly perfect writing to match the actors. I'm a stubborn critic of most of what's on television. This show really moved, inspired, and touched me in a way that nothing else ever dared. Over the past four years, I've been not only interested in it - but also loved it - and mostly laughed.
This past season, things changed a bit. Storylines got wrapped up nicely, and despite the good laughs from the standout cast, I cried a few times. This old, cranky person from the Bronx got super emotional about this television show.
The final episode was absolutely brilliant and has a wonderful message. I needed about 2 boxes of tissues for it.
If you want to watch television which makes you actually feel something and think about life - this is it.
I am happy that Resident Alien was part of my life. I think - and hope - it made me a better human.
Be kind.
See you sometime.

Tears!
Dangit, Resident Alien! You got me! This is not a show I would normally watch but I have to admit, I'm glad I did. Can't believe how emotional the end made me! I actually teared up! Reminds you of the good in people. It is cheesy and far fetched but in the best way possible. There are little nuggets of wisdom and truth. A feel good show w/great characters!

Hey, Greys! Even a TV series on Earth can grow a soul
The finale was a rich homage to everything Resident Alien has been and stood for over its 44 episodes. The cast was visibly emotional, torn between joy and farewell. It mirrors a universal truth: things happen, and life moves on. The show captured this phase of the human journey in the most human way possible.
From its very first episode, it was a breath of fresh air-and it held onto that charm right up to its final seconds. The show didn't just tell a story, it lived one. I hope to see Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, and the rest of the cast in many more projects.

Best series finale
This was the best series finale I've seen in a long time. So many series just never figure out how to end. I'm happy to say Resident Alien ended with heart and hope. I won't spoil anything other to say if you stuck it out to watch until the very end you'll be satisfied. At a time when the world seems more divided than ever, this show provides a ray of hope to the good in being human.

Harry Vanderspeigle: Humans think they need love from others to be happy. They do not realize they already have all the love they will ever need inside of them. Maybe the real magic happens when you give that love away.
