Leap of Faith

I have really enjoyed this film. I watched it on Belgium TV through a short film channel and was really pleased with what I saw. It's a simple enough story; boy is searching for himself and learns a message whilst travelling. But it's the way the story is packaged that makes it so enjoyable. The cinematography is a joy to watch and I really did not know they were shooting in Wales. When I went to Wales, it was raining, so they scored lucky there. The score is beautiful and the acting is very natural. I have been in situations such as this where I am feeling lost and unsure if what I am doing is the right choice, so it's lovely to see this on such a smaller level of film. The actors have really nice chemistry on film, I only wish it was longer. Dominic Ryan is clearly a very good director and it would be good to see what he does anything in the future.

Leap of Faith is short a wonderful short film, I've recently watched it and felt the direction by Mr Dominic Ryan so so subtle and nuanced. It made me want to go travelling again. I'd love to see more.

I recently reviewed Dominic Ryan's short film Four Walls and then stumbled upon this one. Made a few years ago and it's nice to know he's continued his inspiring and uplifting storytelling. This is a lovely little film, please watch it.

Some really nice cinematography here, and a story that is interspersed with some nice, and profound, one-liners. Take a leap of faith and invest 13 minutes of your day.

Beautiful cinematography. Tumbling landscapes, music, story and a warm and kindly connection, naturally portrayed, of two wayfaring strangers, weave together beautifully to make this an uplifting and affirmative viewing experience.
