I thought that this was an engrossing and moving documentary. It corrected a few false impressions I had about agoraphobia - it turns out the phobia is often more about fear of the people who fill (or in your mind will fill) the outdoor space rather than a fear of the space itself. And there are a lot of shared symptoms with other conditions such as depression and anxiety disorders.
The two subjects the docu follows are compelling and we go through a whole gauntlet of emotions with them, including isolation, frustration, curiosity and, at times, humour. The filmmaker actually suffers from agoraphobia herself, and as part of the film she turns the camera on herself. I thought this was incredibly brave and it made the whole project so much more personal and effective.
Great work and I heartily recommended watching it.
