I'll start with the positives - visuals were great. I liked the casting, and I loved the hyper technically advanced 60s setting. That was a cool touch, because if it was set today it would be far less exciting. I loved the look of everything, and the main threat was decent (nothing new). I also appreciated how they quickly summarized how they became the F4 at the start, and that they set the story a few years later, because we didn't need to see that origin story another time and watch them discovering and learning their powers.
But, the writing was not great. Character development lacked, and it felt like I watched a sequel to a movie I hadn't seen, where characters were established and we saw some of that classic superhero movie action. I just never fully bonded with the characters or learned much about them, so it was a little hard to invest or fully care if they lived or died. I especially did like the new portrayal of Sue Storm, she was very likeable.
The biggest issue for me was the lack of action! There were no smaller battles or rescue scenes, like a battle between the Silver Surfer or the F4 having to save a large group of people from an attack or disaster. It was mostly all a build up for the big baddie to attack towards the end. I wanted to see more action and more of the F4 using their powers.
I was fairly happy with the final battle tho, it was good, just too much waiting until then.
All in all a decent watch and I was fairly entertained. It was definitely a big upgrade from the last flop F4 movie, but nothing new or particularly memorable here. Glad I saw it at Disney+ and not in the theaters.

In general, I had a very good time with this movie. I'm a fan of old school slapstick comedy, when it's written cleverly stupid, and this is just that. It's stupid, it's silly and it's over the top. But they have some really clever and funny moments that reminds me of the good old slapstick and parody movies.
Neeson does a great job, and so does Anderson. So fun to see her in a blockbuster like this, and she fits the role perfectly!
Naked Gun proves that good comedy can still be done.

I know it's a hot take, but although (one of my all time favorites movies) Cruel Intentions is a better movie, but this is comparable. A tackier, dirtier LA version of it. It's just that this was far less successful. I happened to come across it as a late teen, and rented it because I loved Reed at the time. It became one of my favorites in this category.
The cast and acting is phenomenal. To think that Nikki Reed actually was 18 yo when this was filmed is crazy, because she really carries this film well alongside Moss, Baldwin and Wilson whom are all very solid. And Jeff Goldblum is... Jeff Goldblum.
If you like just nasty, tacky money in easy, fun and suspenseful movies with a mid 2000s vibe, this is worth testing out for you.
