If you're a fan of shows like firefly (RIP) this is a fun romp that has many things going for it:

1. EXCELLENT cast of characters (no one fades into the background, you start to fall in love with each one)

2. The world building is fascinating/endless opportunities here

3. Set and costume design = chef's kiss

4. Well written dialogue -- the funny bits feel earned and natural

i very much hope this show is renewed for a second season, this crew has earned a place in my imagination and i'd like to see where they go next!

This is what good writing looks like.

I consume a lot of comedy -- A LOT -- and this was the best pilot I've seen in a very long time. The cast is strong and the relationships between every character feel incredibly natural. The dialogue is on point as well. I've seen too many school based shows where the students just don't sound natural. These ones do.

I'm only two episodes in, but I can already tell this is a show I'll be rewatching many times --- the world feels real and I'm immediately immersed.

Give it a chance, especially if you love workplace comedies like I do. You won't regret it.

This is the best show I've seen in a long time. After binging the whole thing I was elated to find Ally Xue, J. J. Fong, and Perlina Lau's other shows, Flat3 and Friday Night Bites, on Youtube. Can't wait until season 2 and all the other wonderful things that I'm sure these three will create!!!! I'm now a fan for life.
