I really enjoyed this movie, we were well over due a decent sci-fi come thriller.

Acting was excellent, nice build up with some very tense, hold your breath moments. Take no notice of the reviews though, try this movie for yourself, it might surprise you.

I get that It won't be for everyone, but for those solid sci-fi fans, i believe it hits the mark. Good acting, tense, good build up, good cinematography and special effects, great alien content..what's not to love.

Good performance from Gerard Butler, teaming up with Mike Colter, for this fast paced, edge of your seat action movie.

Although suspected it would be the usual hero performance from Butler, I found him to be more engaging and relatable. With some other solid characters cast too, it gave it a more rounded fulfilling action movie experience.

Would definitely like to see more of Colter as a leading man, after what he made seem an easy and quality performance, he could definitely hold his own.

I saw this movie with no high expectations other than another hero movie in the plane crash genre. I left feeling more than satisfied with this above average action spectacular, which was fast paced and thoroughly entertaining.. after all isn't that what movies are supposed to do.. entertain us? I would definitely recommend giving this film a go. More like this please!

This movie has more intensity and storyline than some of the bigger movies of the superpowers genre. It takes you on a deep and intriguing journey, with decent acting and great scenery. Well produced, I found it more believable, although still touching on myths and legends but as ancient, rather than modern day. Building and culminating in a riveting and exciting ending that leaves you wanting more.
