Let me start by saying that season 1 was absolutely magic. I would have rated it a solid 8. I was therefore super excited for season 2. Then I started the first episode and wow, the magic was gone. I got so bored I didn't even finish the first episode. Jenna is still a great actress for sure but the writing was flat, the storyline uninteresting, the whole thing was so lackluster it couldn't hold my interest. Don't waste your time. :/

Now this is interesting! Only one episode in but I am already hooked. This definitely feels like a Hallmark Mystery win to me. Sarah Drew does a great job of being a sweet and charming small town girl with a secret darker past. She played it well! I love that there is a more obvious storyline of a the murder with a layered storyline of her past. I'm very excited to see where they go with her history storyline. And of course the good looking cop to banter with and develop something with will be a win too. Definitely worth watching. Love it when Hallmark actually tries to give a smart audience something a bit more intriguing.

I've got to start off by saying that I absolutely adore the two leads. They are great actors and I've loved them in other movies I've seen. BUT their acting skills and chemistry were wasted on this storyline. Not a fan of this trend I'm seeing in hallmark to throw in a witch or psychic with some lame curse or creepy prediction and call that a storyline. We need an actual premise please. Saw this again in another hallmark movie The Marry Me Pact. Again two good actors doing their best with a subpar "the psychic said" nonsense storyline that fell flat. I say my love of the actors made me stick it out but it won't be on a favorites list.
