In these times of hate and political violence, this tv series is like a life jacket. The 3 main protagonists are so likable, you want them as your neighbors. Lane is at the top of his game, so is Graham. Bomer left me perplexed after the 1rst episode but his character is so naive and lovable that he grows on you and is often the comic relief. The guest stars are all amazing. But Linda Lavin is the revelation for me. I was too young when "Alice" was on to fully appreciate her comedic timing but wow, what an actress. The episode when she meets an old friend at the country club and she sits at the piano is pure gold.

We need simple and efficient sitcoms like these. Yes, there's a laugh track. So what ? Friends does too and millions keep watching the reruns. I really hope there's a second season. This show is a gem.

I'm a die hard fan of Wolverine and after the great "Logan", I was a bit scared that they would screw up this temporary comeback. But man, it was perfect. 2 minutes in, I knew what I was getting into and I was grinning like a kid. I'm so grateful for the fans that didn't spoil the cameos and the guests actors ! What a joy to see some favorites reappearing. And what a great gig for an older Hugh Jackman, who's in top shape, more charismatic than ever. I laughed, I applauded, I cringed, I cried (during the credits). The villain is great and plausible. In a nutshell, it was such a fun ride that I can't wait to see it again.

Even though Wild Bill (superbly played by Bauer) is always entertaining, this episode shows an entire different and softer side of him. I'm not a fan of flashbacks episodes but this one for me, is the backbone that this great series needed. Yes, the brothers are doing their best to keep their father's business alive but to know what has happened before all this and the important role that Bill played gives the show a depth that makes you appreciate some characters even more.

I'm glad that Wild Bill has a good storyline this season because Chris Bauer is giving a mesmerizing performance as the has-been but beloved wrestler with a heart of gold.
