Founded 1996 the production company Cut and Run Production Bln. (together with director Andreas Marschall and especially for music videos) which he named after an Italian adventure-horror film of the same name. Many of the video clips were shot using Super 8, 16mm and Super 16 film stock.

With his partner Marschall as director, he produced two independent feature films that have been released internationally. Tears of Kali (2004), for which he won a Silver Méliès for Best European Fantastic Film as producer, and the feature film Masks (2011), which was an homage to the Italian Giallo genre.

Starts early to take on the job as art director for his own productions.

Not a film school graduate.

Filmed a lot abroad on location and preferred it there to a studio. Therefore, he produced many of the music clips in Europe including Spain. In the desert of Tabernas, Cabo de Gata, Andalusia were three video-clips shot and one each around Malaga and in Barcelona.

Cut and Run Prod. independently produced a music video with Motörhead / Skew Siskin in the 90s in Berlin. Since post-production did not start immediately, the exposed film material was stored. After a longer time and two company relocation's, the material could no longer be found. Much to the regret of all involved.
