- Originally cast as a guest star on the pilot of Yo y el mundo (1993). The actress who was cast as Topanga Lawrence was not working out. She and another girl were asked to read on the spot. Danielle won the role.
- Claims that she and Ben Savage went on exactly one date, while filming Yo y el mundo (1993) (1993-2000), and that, by the end of the date, they both decided that they would just stay friends.
