Adam Fogerty was ranked 3rd in England and fifth in Europe as a professional boxer managed by Terry Lawles and Micky Duff before turning to rugby league. He was the youngest player to ever represent the Isle of Man rugby union team at 15 years of age and a winner of a super league medal with St. Helens rugby league club in 1996. In 1996 he was a member of Silk Cut Challenge, cup winners in that year, although he did not play in the final for the comeback kings St. Helens RLFC.
