He was in a band named Zig Zag and his nick name was Johnny. He fused together and created Johnny Zee. Stereo Nation came about when he started collaborating with other artists, in particular a DJ by the name of Kendell. There were 2 of them working in the studio, both from different nationalities, both singing in stereo, hence Stereo Nation.
