Robert Asencio is a proud artist from New Jersey with a BA in Theatre from Kean University. Robert is grateful to have honed his skills performing on New York City and New Jersey stages throughout his career. Most recently, Robert played the role of Ernesto alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the HBO Max television series "And Just Like That..." from Emmy Award-Winning Director Michael Patrick King.
Robert also appeared on HBO Max Original limited series "Full Circle" from Academy Award-Winning Director Steven Soderbergh and has worked on the feature film "These Days" by Junior Gonzalez which won awards at the Hamptons International Film Festival and Chelsea Film Festival. On stage, Robert recently played the role of Elliot Ortiz at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center production of Pulitzer Prize winning play Water by the Spoonful by Quiara Alegria Hudes.
In addition to being an actor, Robert is also a dedicated visual artist, musician, photographer, poet, and award-winning filmmaker with his family run production company M.R.H.R Films. His continued study of the arts has fed his artistic life with an everlasting joy that he is very blessed to have found. Ultimately, he believes that all artists must strive to build a deep personal relationship with their art forms.
