When Oliver wanted to introduce a friend to Joaquin Phoenix's work (he is one of Gruber's favorite actors and she did not know him), he started renting movies on Netflix. One of these movies was "Earthlings" narrated by Joaquin. Oliver did not know that movie either and couldn't imagine that it would change his live forever. He (and his wife too) became vegan that same night in 2010 after watching the film directed by Shaun Monson.
