First cousin, once removed, of Tim Allen. Tim's maternal grandparents were also Jordan's maternal great-grandparents. Jordan has said that Tim introduced his parents to each other.

Jordan Klepper appears in the 2016 music video of "The Thrill is Back" by the band The Paranoid Style, directed by Miles Kahn of "The Daily Show" and "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee." It is a shot-for-shot remake of Journey's "Separate Ways" very earnest video.
