Mohammad Hans Dastmaltchi is a serial entrepreneur and a visionary German investment banker whose background and experience comes from the Banking & Finance Industry. He became the youngest Co-Founder of a bank in Germany at the age of 17 when he co-founded a fully regulated investment bank. Mr. Dastmaltchi has been involved in more than 80 private equity transactions as an entrepreneur, investor or banker, and today, after two decades of entrepreneurship, he is one of the most active and experienced investors in the financial sector in Europe.
Mohammad Hans Dastmaltchi strongly believes that the Banking Industry is on the edge of the biggest change in history and is a prominent investor in Financial Technology companies (FinTech), including Kreditech, one of Germany's largest FinTechs. Additionally, his passion for innovation has driven him to go beyond the boundaries of financial services and technology to discover new and exciting investment opportunities. These include Bio Hacking technologies, Life Science and Anti-Aging and scientific smart drugs with longevity. He has also remained a strong advocate for start-ups and is a seed investor in companies such as ATAI Life Sciences AG, a clinical-stage biotech company valued at over 2.3 billion after a successful IPO in 2021.
His regional focus lies in Germany and the Middle East, although across a wide spectrum of sectors, including financial services, internet and technology, life science and entertainment. He runs his own family office and merchant banking business, Pamedo Investments, which holds stakes in about 60 ventures and enterprises, in the heart of the International Financial Centre in Dubai.
In addition to his passion for banking and the financial sector, he is also a shareholder of the Global Citizen, a leading lifestyle magazine in Dubai for HNWIs, a Co-Founder of the Global Citizen Foundation, an organization that places a great value on social, political and societal commitments and a co-producer of multiple movies including Big Game, Goethe, Search for Happiness.
