Eileen is a Northern Irish / South African filmmaker specializing in Writing, Directing and Development. She studied visual arts before moving into Film Distribution at Studiocanal and Lionsgate. She has a Master's Degree in Directing Fiction.
Her festival-winning short The Secret Life of Marionettes earned her the Lisburn Young Artist of the Year award. Her last short One for the Road was made in collaboration with a community in Wales set to lose their homes to climate change. The film starred Lynn Hunter and Catrin Stewart and has played in 12 festivals internationally, gaining global nominations and awards.
Eileen's work is all about representing the voiceless and sharing the reality of their experience. Her next project focuses on conversion therapy and looks for hope for the victims.
