Freigeist van Tazzy

In 1992 Freigeist was involved in a car crash in rural Namibia (Omaruru District) when he tried to avoid a collision with a family of warthogs. After a full braking, the car carrying four people overturned and was totaled. Everyone survived ... even the warthogs. However, Freigeist suffered a spinal cord injury and had to undergo surgery which left a visible postoperative scar on his neck.
