CMDess

CMDess ( Charles Michael Desser ) 02/14/1982, is a music composer / producer from Ocala, Florida. Music of CMDess can be heard across TV around the world. While spending 12 years in San Francisco, California he worked on many projects oriented around the sync music and production music industry. He has achieved over 1,300 placements of music in TV and has publishers based in LA and around the world. You can hear his work in shows like UFC Prelims, American Ninja Warrior, Expedition Unknown, Chopped, Smackdown, Monday Night Raw, Savage Family Diggers and similar. As a teenager his first major milestone came with the performance of one of his works by a symphonic orchestra. While initially sparking serious musical interest after hearing a performance of a classical work he transcended from classical into contemporary and hybrid music. He came from a musically inclined family including a Broadcast DJ Mother who worked for WMFQ/WKTK (Entercom) and a pianist father who graduated the Juilliard School.

In his late teens, CM worked on Sample CDs and during this time would create the concept called "Groove Shadows", a unique production technique. He later ventured into California to develop his musical pursuits more commercially. CM has a vast variety of inspiration from classical to sound design. An avid synth collector as a youngster led to aspirations of blending sounds in progressive ways which ended him in the world of sync music and music production craft.

CM's music involves a broad spectrum of formats. In later years, original samples and original synth designs such as XRIFFz would find their way into music productions, giving them a distinct tapestry. The kinds of genre he finds himself involved with include all of the following: Classical, Electronic, Sound Design, Trailer Music, New Age, Underscore, Jazz, World, Urban, Songs, Spiritual, Fantasy, Pop, Rock, NuMetal, Experimental, and Easy Listening.

Performing generally all the instruments and singing in his pieces he also produces, arranges, notates, effects, field records, and mixes material with the help of world class instrument and plug-in and application technology. As of 2017 he has been back in Florida and releasing unique blends of production music oriented concepts and songs. Additionally he has a YouTube channel with several thousand videos that cover various topics in addition to housing his musical releases.
