Shoshana Wilder is a multilingual, classically trained actor and singer. A versatile performer, she is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Yiddish. She is best known for playing Allisson Walton on The Emperor (Crave), Pia in the feature film Wanton Want (Amazon Prime) and Kyoko in award-winning animation movie Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman.
Raised in Montreal, Quebec, Shoshana was drawn to the performing arts from a young age. After her high school drama teacher encouraged her to pursue acting as a career, Shoshana went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre and Drama, in Montreal. Since then, she has also trained at Upright Citizen's Brigade, The Bob Krakower Studio and T. Shreiber Studios in New York City, and at Annie Grindlay Studio in Los Angeles.
Since graduating, in 2013, Shoshana has worked extensively on stage, film, television and behind the mic in Montreal, New York City, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
Additional on-screen credits include: agent Madison in Superhero series Alex 2Guns; Deena in the medical drama "Transplant" (CBC); Katou in comedy film Innocent and Princess Lisette II in the Quebecois teen television series Comment devenir une légende (Vrak TV).
On stage, she has performed all across North America, in productions including: Indecent (Emerson Theatre), Mad Hatter, the Musical (East Coast), Yalla (Theatre Aux Ecuries), The Dybbuk (Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre), and Frédéric Bélanger's French production of "Anne of Green Gables" (Théâtre Denise-Pelletier).
As a voice actor, Shoshana was CBC's in-house announcer between 2015-2019. She has also lent her voice to The Forge to the Stars (Cirque du Soleil) and continues to voice many radio commercials and dubbing projects.
The Canadian character actress also co-wrote, co-created and acted in her first short film, Roed, which won Best Picture at the 2023 ACTRA Short Film Festival.
