Resumen
Reviewers say 'The Witcher' series is lauded for Henry Cavill's performance as Geralt, captivating fantasy world, and impressive action sequences. The show's visual effects and character chemistry receive high praise. However, it is criticized for its intricate and occasionally confusing narrative, pacing problems, and deviations from the original material. Some express dissatisfaction with casting decisions and character development. Replacing Henry Cavill has sparked significant backlash, with many fearing it will diminish the show's quality and viewer interest.

he Witcher Lost Its Soul Without Henry Cavill
I'm not even bothering to watch this new season. Henry Cavill was The Witcher, and without him, it just doesn't make sense to continue. The story, the magic, and the charm all walked away with him. Netflix should have known better - the show feels hollow without its true lead.
I am honestly frustrated and angry that Henry Cavill left The Witcher. He was the show - the face, the charm, the essence of Geralt himself. Without him, how does it even make sense to continue watching? The story, the magic, and the world feel hollow without the Witcher at its center. Is there any point in watching this if the Witcher himself isn't in it? Netflix should have known better; they've taken away what made the show captivating in the first place. I feel like the soul of the series walked away with Cavill.

I see why HC quit
Don't usually write reviews but this 3rd season was so bad. Boring, weak soap opera, forcing narrative, been there done that garbage. The future is not bright for this show. The only bright spot was the monsters and they were few and far between.
It started as if it was going to be a great season, maybe one of the best scenes in the series but went stale instantly. Wayyyy to talky, very little action. The story was all over the place and the recaps were the only value. You can probably watch the recaps and be done with it. I'm not sure how episode 7 made it to the screen. And out of nowhere the narrative hits the bard... cmon when will this nonsense end.
Watch and you'll probably feel like you've seen everything in this season before in multiple shows and movies. Very dissatisfying and disappointing.

Cavill is Wonderful, but Writers Simply Suck
Netflix has once again released a series that has incredible potential, but has been undermined by horrible writing and extremely weak casting choices. Henry Cavill was an inspired choice as Geralt of Rivia, and obviously brings a lot of knowledge and fondness to the role. He gives the series a luster that is unfortunately quickly dimmed by the horribly dimwitted writing. Eels??? What is with the Eels??? Note: that didn't need a spoiler alert. If you've seen the series, you'll know what I am talking about, and if you haven't, you will know when you witness that silly travesty.
The sets are lush and well done, the costumes are good, and the music fits well with the setting. The exception to the music is when Dandelion goes from Medival to something akin to "Pop Harp". Grating doesn't even begin to describe it. I did like the action scenes, as Henry Cavill is very believable as a athletic monster slayer.
So overall, I give a 9 to Cavill and the great atmosphere of the series. The supporting cast are sporadic and generally weak, and rate no more than a 5 or 6. The writing, and in particular the scenes added to the script that were never in the original books, was extremely weak, and garnered no more than a 2 or at the most 3. I gave the show a 6. Mildly entertaining, but falls far short of the original books and the three Witcher games.

What a waste of a good series.
They did in three seasons what it took Game of Thrones eight seasons to do. Ruined it by incorporating mindless writing entwined with personal ideology with a huge dose of not knowing/caring what the audience want. Sad to see another series blown away because of egos and politics. The first season was a ten. The second was a seven. With giving the last season to have zero stars. This could have rivaled Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Friends. It is obvious Netflix is more into creating a payday series then riding the royalties of decline all the way to the bank like companies have with so many other creations in the Hollywood handbook. They seem to go with the old saying "Fix it until it's broke"!
Season 3 made me change my rating from 8 to a 5
Season one I found actually pretty good (only read a small part of the books) - season two showed me glimpses of good stuff but my God, what kind of monster have they created with season 3?
I'm hoping the producers and executives will finally come to their senses and stop pushing a series in a direction everyone knows people will hate. It's like they listed to the fans, take that point of feedback and go the exact opposite direction and then are amazed ratings and views are down.
Truly mind boggling how think so highly off themselves that they let the main actor walk away before listening to feedback.

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesHenry Cavill's training for the role consisted of extensive sword-training (besides the rigorous bodybuilding required to prepare his physique for the camera). He said, "I spent all of my free time, and when I wasn't on set, with a sword in my hand. It was getting used to the weight of the sword, using it day in and day out. I had three swords where I lived, and four at work. And it was just non-stop practice, practice, practice."
- PifiasAt various instances, the incorrect sword type is used by Geralt. Geralt carries two swords: the dark-hilted sword with Renfri's broach on the crossguard is made of steel while the white-hilted sword is coated in silver. It is established that only silver works against monsters, especially for ensuring a killing blow. This straight-forward rule is not followed in various episodes of the series despite being mentioned in the first episode (and in latter episodes as well).
