What happened to the sound???

The movie started out okay, although the production made it seem more like a stage play than a movie. Despite the amateurish opening and bad acting, I was committed to giving it a chance and watching anyway. After the happy hour scene, however, the sound dropped so low I couldn't hear what they were saying. Footsteps were more audible than the dialogue. Seriously. I figured that was my cue to forget this one and go to bed.

So the story line was good. I wish the actual movie was better quality but looks like it was just put together BUT I'm sitting here trying to figure out why the movie ended the way it did. Why was there not a second part not made? I want to know what happens when Mira and Andrea find out what they did it did something to me I knew it was coming. Can we get another part? Probably not I mean it was made in 2016 smh. It would be great though. Oh, yes I'm late to watching it lol.

OK

This movie tried to deal with a few issues such as the silence of domestic violence, absentee mom/dad, black love, forgiveness, etc. I think the script was ok, but it could have been better. There were a few surprise moments that I wasn't expecting so that was a plus.

I'm sure with a larger budget it would have been a better movie. But kudos to the actor/director/writer for living her dream.

Needs a good sound man!

The movie had several good things about it that gave it good potential. The storyline was interesting and many, not all of the cast, were good at acting. The sound however was really poor and amateurish. In some cases you could barely hear and in other cases there was an echo. Still, kudos to the lady who wrote, directed and starred in the movie. I think as time goes on, her work will get better and better provided she gets a good sound crew!
