A Conversation with Gregory Peck

This documentary was made from appearances Gregory Peck made on stage reminiscing about his career and life, produced by his daughter Cecilia.

I see some people were critical of Cecilia's presence, but I enjoyed the whole thing. In my favorite part, he is asked if Sophia Loren was really nude during the shower scene in Arabesque. "well," Peck said, "yes and no. I can only tell you it was pretty spectacular in there."

There was some footage of Peck with his family, a wonderful story of meeting his wife Veronique, and great reflections on his career, particularly the role of Atticus Finch. It's not much of a surprise that he came off so dignified and relaxed, a man aging gracefully and comfortable in his own skin.

My friend Rita Gam made two films with him, and she adored him. Good enough for me.
