Started this anime just to give it a try. The first half of the season wasn't that bad... but then it started to pick up steam, and I actually really enjoyed it! Especially the character Yang, voiced by Ian Sinclair (which I personally love hearing) (*Whis, from Dragon Ball Z*), he brought a lot of comedy to this role.
Post credit scene hints to a second season, and I hope that happens. Worth a watch!
And became infatuated. It is campy, cheesy, and filled with innuendos but that's what makes it amazing. The voice actors play it off and don't react to the one liners, like corny laugh track pauses you get with generic sitcoms. There's a weird comedic magic to this show that makes you wanting more (please please please don't make this be a one season wonder). I was looking for a short anime to not get invested into, to just zone out to while drifting off to at night, nope, stayed up and binged this in one night and now desperately need more!
This was recommended by a friend as a funny comedy in space and when I noticed it on Hulu I decided why not. One of my favorite animes solely for the stupid humor in all the correct ways.
Only watched the first episode, which 1/3 way through I kinda wanted to just turn off, then... I laughed, laughed again and then said, WTF is HAPPENING and laughed some more. There are 12 episodes out there, so I shouldn't be writing this now, but hardly anyone else is posting...
I've been looking for a 'lighthearted, fun show to lazily watch before crashing.'
That was Bob's Burgers, but chewed them all up. It's not THAT funny, but seems of a similar vein... (devoid of social/political commentary... just fun, tugging on strings of anime/story telling tropes without really criticizing---ummm, pop culture references wouldn't cross the East/West, which Bob's excelled at, so not expecting here---similar isn't the same)

Although Space Dandy had a charm whereas this anime was trying too hard but completely failed for me after just watching 2 episodes. The characters and story just weren't enough to keep me watching it more....
I really wanna give it a like but then I would be lying to myself. So without further ado, I'm just gonna leave it at 2 episodes. To it's fans, hope you enjoy the rest of it!

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesIsekandar is named after Iskandar, a special planet that was the subject of a quest in the classic space anime Uchû senkan Yamato (1974).
