Talkin' Dirty After Dark

Before Martin Lawrence had a hit show he had some bit parts in a few movies and even a small part on "What's Happening Now." "Talkin' Dirty After Dark" was a movie he starred in though I don't think he proudly touts that.

"Talkin' Dirty After Dark" is a funny low budget movie about a comedy club called Dukie's. Martin Lawrence was the star of the movie playing an up and coming comedian named Terry Lombard. The funniest parts of this movie were the stand-up routines. There were routines from Mark Curry, Lance Crouther, Dwayne Kennedy, Phyllis Yvonne Stickney, and of course Martin Lawrence.

Talkin' Dirty is more of a dirty little pleasure. It's not a particularly well written or even acted movie, but it is oh so funny. I feel guilty even admitting I like it.
