Suicide, the Comedy

This movie is a hilarious and witty twist on suicide and how Matt (Jamie Harris) goes about completing it. I really enjoyed how Matt interacted with his friend and family to hide his plan. At times, I found it a bit difficult to understand Matt (Harris) with his English accent. One aspect of the movie that I really enjoyed, were the sequences with the black cop in the musky office. Those sequences added quite comical interludes to the movie and the black cop was the perfect character for the role. I highly suggest catching this movie if you can.

this was an OK movie, it was kind of boring but the acting is what stood out in my mind. the parts that stood out in my mind the most were the parts when Matt was talking about suicide with a vengeance, those parts were very entertaining. The cool black cop, David Mckay, who i have seen in a couple other things such as bugged which was shitty but he stole the movie, and Blue and Green (which is a short). he is very good and always steals every scene he is in. I've have seen him in some other stuff too and i think that he is a rising star and he is going places. you should all see this movie so u can see what i am talking about. i saw his on reel on the internet and it is very impressive.

This movie dragged on at times, but contained some funny scenes, as well as some meaningful lines. It has a strange feel about it, with an English writer going through the motions whilst living in the States.

I caught a section of it on cable and had to wait another month to see the whole thing at 5am, but it turn out to be worth it.

The main character is stuck in a rut and can't find his way out. Entertaining notions of suicide get him through the absurdity around him.

Its not an easy issue to explore but its conveyed well with regular comical injections without downplaying anyone who may have considered suicide themselves. The relationships with friends, ex girlfriends and parents make the film worth seeing.

Embarking on a spiritual journey of sorts in L.A. he seems to be looking for something to talk him into or out of committing suicide. As a screen writer he is able to dismiss all the fears he arises as he is just researching an idea for a movie.

I thought this movie was excellent. The movie is funny pretty much from beginning to end.

I particularly liked the relationship between the main character and his parents.

The previous poster said that it could be slow at times, and I see what he means, but I didn't find it to be a problem at all.

Also, one of the characters in the movie is played by "Mo" from the old Guts show on Nickelodeon, which I found to be pretty cool. :)

I think if Suicide had a little bit more exposure it could build up a significant fan base.

The movie is on Netflix. You won't regret picking it up.
