(opening statement) This film shows the English speaking community in Montreal reacting to the October Crisis of 1970. Some people preferred not to be filmed. Those who did agree were reacting under tension at a time when anything seemed possible. What was said then in the heat of the moment may not always be what is believed today. Therefore we have identified the groups rather than the individuals.
