I treasure each of Brit porn starlet Sarah Young's handful of 35mm feature films, and AT HOME WITH PENE is one of the rarest, if not the best. Thanks to simpatico direction by "Nicholas Moore" (Mario Bianchi, who piloted Sarah to greatness in CASTLE OF LUCRETIA and NIKITA, SEXY KILLER) this is a winner.

The Italian title does not translate, but should be AT HOME WITH PENIS in English, the "Pene" meaning literally that. This describes very accurately the Sarah Young ethos: she is definitely at home with the male member, in general, and that's why we fans adore her still, 20 years after her heyday.

Film opens with Sarah waking up in bed, but her hubby is too busy to service her. That's hard for the loyal viewer to identify with (smacks of miscasting), but so be it. After he splits, she masturbates, cueing a flashback of her in a tavern servicing a stud (to a reggae beat). Bianchi keeps things moving by cross-cutting between the fantasy and Sarah masturbating in bed.

She's an erotic novelist, next shown on her couch writing her next epic in long-hand. (In her hundreds of fab video vignettes, the real Sarah is often seen writing in her notebook ideas for video shoots.) A beautiful blonde visits to show samples of her own writing, which Sarah compliments, and reads aloud. This cues a vignette illustrating the blonde's work: Roberto Malone visits a girl friend, but nobody's home except her young daughter.

Not surprisingly (this is porn, and Italian to boot), he watches the young girl take a very sexy bath in a circular tub (shaped like a huge sink), and both masturbate. The blonde mama arrives, and doesn't get mad (see endless Italian sex comedies about "sex in the family"), but instead the trio have sex together, including enthusiastic mother/daughter incest.

In context, it's almost touching to watch mom performing cunnilingus on her offspring as Roberto introduces the "ex-virgin" (as he announces afterward) to anal sex.

Sarah praises this tale and gives the blonde lots of advice. After she leaves, Sarah returns to her own story about Milly, illustrated by guest star Milly D'Abbraccio. Certain to please MD's legion of fans, this hot segment is styled as a roughie as two guys break in, tie Milly to a chair, blindfold her and then rape & whip her. They plunge two dildos sequentially into her vagina and then execute a double penetration, aided by one of the dildos. Not to worry, Milly enjoys it all.

Finished with her writing, Sarah in bed muses about her own sex life, cueing a brief fantasy featuring uncredited guest star Valentino. He's tied to a chair, as she strips, lap dances and generally tantalizes him with her huge breasts. This is very well-photographed and comes to no conclusion, remaining softcore (probably accounting for V's non-billing), as she's woken up by the arrival home of hubby.

The dumbbell is horny this time, and he services her in bed. We learn Sarah's little secret: she goes to bed wearing beautiful white stockings and a garter belt (not recommended, unless you're shooting porn).

The lengthy final sex scene is a model of simple & direct erotic photography, as Bianchi uses a tight closeup of anal sex with the camera slowly zooming out to reveal the master shot of Sarah (so many porn hacks shoot everything as if it were an all-purpose, disembodied insert shot). Hubby's money shot in her mouth is a logical ending.
