America's Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story

Jfk Jr was a we all know the prince of Camelot. He took many risks but was no dummy. I think a multitude of situations lead to his death. His naive nature of love being the worst. I will always be so happy that him & his father were a part of my history. I hope that my grandchildren are as lucky to see history in the making like I did. They will always be the hopeful life in all Americans. The Kennedy family is a level we all hope to achieve. I will always tell my family of these great people. Their saying I'm not saying enough but I've said all there is. The Kennedy family is the best thing that happened to politics.

While I thought this was a good film about JFK Jr it was a little hard to follow the timeline. It jumped around quite a bit without ever mentioning what year they were in. Otherwise not great acting, and not really a great film, but it was nice to learn a little more about who JFK Jr was.

The accounts seem real with a human factor added to the mix. A lot of sadness. I'm sure glad that I wasn't him....another thing to add is that all the women in this show were not really pretty accounts of the real women. But, I don't think that it was about the women, although it was to JFK Jr's passion. What a shame. any loss of life is a real shame.

Seemed like a good account of his life. I recommend it if you are into biographies and melodrama!

I'm a gossip addict, but this tv shlock was a disappointment, with second-rate casting -- particularly a zero sex appeal JFK Jr. who looked far too young and puppy-doggish to be the peer of his supposed colleagues -- and an insulting mocumentary-type format. Not to mention And the obnoxious and tacky framing concept of two idiotic bystanders commenting on every part of his life. The whole thing was so substandard as to make the viewer wonder what anyone ever saw in the subject himself. 5/10

I'm surprised at the positive reviews of this film, I thought it was awful! Very poor production values and bad voice dubbing (is it just me, or does anyone else think Jacqueline Bisset was re-voiced by a different actor?).

The poor actors did their best with the mediocrematerial - Portia de Rossi was good as always, but I found the style of the film very melodramatic, it was a bit like watching a daytime soap. John Jnr came across as a spoilt, angry, unlikeable young man. This was obviously shot on video, and the lighting was terrible. Could have been (and should have been!) so much better.
