Super Hang-On

Wow, what a totally bland game. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, and I enjoyed playing Super Hang-On, but there really isn't much appeal to it in 2012. After years of playing Road Rashes, Grand Theft Autos and Motorstorms a game that simply involved buzzing up a featureless road doesn't do anything for me.

If Hang-On was like OutRun then Super Hang-On is Turbo OutRun (both are made by Yu Suzuki). It mostly the same game with a new boost button and slightly different courses. Only the OutRuns are fun and nice to look at with pleasant music. Super Hang-On offers lots of grey race tracks with...nothing by the side of the road and has very bland music. And although there are other bikes on the road you're not racing any of them as your just chasing the clock.

I kept moaning "where's the punch and kick button" too, thinking I was playing Road Rash.

Ultimately, it's worth getting for the 12 easy trophies.
