Bad News

Nicely shot in wide-angle black and white creating a suspense and tension. While a thief is shoplifting a family house in the midst of the night, a newspaper journalist is confronted by her pushy boss to deliver an attractive headline for tomorrow's front page. The two stories intertwine cleverly, leaving the conclusion to the audience. Is the news of tomorrow's paper just an imagination of the editor? And how does it happen that bad news turn into good news for others? At the end of the film the famous German comedy duo OROPAX has a funny appearance as two cops creating chaos on duty. An homage to the good old newspaper and times when news have been printed before they've been read. The film has been shown at the prestigious Locarno International Film Festival and the Filmfestival of Tirana, the capitol of Albania.
