    Great!

Great movie with all the metaphor, unique in it's genre in bengali movie. I have watched it and enjoyed it. But there's one thing that is quite sad is that the screen quality is not that great. But, all in all it covers up the gap with the superior story. I would recommend anyone to watch this movie to understand the prospect of Bengal Language Movement and the reason behind International Mother Language Day. I bet you would enjoy it.

One of the Best Film Made in Bangladesh, a Metaphor of Dictatorship.

"Jibon Theke Neya" is political satire on the dictatorship of Ayub Khan in then East Pakistan. This film portrays Bengali Language Movement of 1952 and tribute to the Martyrs of the movement. The story presents dominating image of a woman in a family consisting her husband, two brother and the servants. This symbolizes the dictatorship of Ayub Khan in the country then. It also represents mass uprising of 1969 and arresting the political workers. Protest both outside in the road and inside in the house goes on. Meanwhile, the family members acquire courage to get rid of the dictatorship but another circumstance arises to gain control over the family and possession of a bunch of keys.

Prominent Director of Bangladeshi film, Zahir Raihan symbolizes the family as the country, and possession of the bunch of keys as the political movement in the film. The story was written with great care to portray the incidents of political movement metaphorically. All of the cast of the film have done tremendous acting. In this film, several prominent songs such as "Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano", song based on Language Movement, "Karar Oi Louho Kopat", song written by rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and "Amar Sonar Bangla" which was later taken as the National Anthem of Bangladesh was used. It is said that this film inspires Liberation War in 1971 and the songs were inspiration for the freedom fighters.

For all type of audience, this can be a worth watching film. Audience can have knowledge about 1952's Language Movement, 1969's mass uprising from this classical one of Zahir Raihan.

A Country, A Household, A Bunch of Keys, A Revolution and A Film!!

*"Jibon Theke Neya" which simply means "Experience Taken from Life" is a Classic Political Satire of Bangladesh, Written and Directed by the Great Author, Director and Wordsmith Zahir Raihan. Released in 1970, It is a Satire Based on the Bengali Language Movement under the Rule of Pakistan Govt. metaphorically. In that time It was a Brave attempt by Zahir Raihan to make this Film which Stirred the whole Nation and He also faced many Difficulties during the Release of the Film.

*It's a History/Drama Movie. The Plot is set in the Backdrop of the 1952 Language Movement. A Household, Where an Autocratic Bad-tempered Woman who represents the Tyrannical Leader of Pakistan, Controls everybody in the House, including Her Husband, Brothers and the Servants who repesents the General people of the Country. When the Brothers Get married the Situation Becomes more Problematic over Having Control of the family by Having the Keys of the House. Where Outside of the House, the People of East-Pakistan Rise in Political Protest to Make Bangla recognised as one of the State Languages. Parallelly Inside the House, the Members also Raise their Voice against the Tyrannical Woman. The Plot is very Interesting and Smart. It is Mix of Great Plot and Awesome acting by the Actors, with a Bit of Comedy and Drama. Towards the End It also Has some Great Courtroom Drama.

*The Actors, Razzak, Anowar Hossain, Khan Ataur Rahman, Rawshan Jamil, Amjad Hossain, Baby Zaman, Shuchonda, Shawkat Akbar, Rosy Samad etc. all are Great and Legendary actors from Bangladesh. They all did a very Great job, Specially Rawshan Jamil as the Tyrannical Woman and Khan Ataur Rahman as Her Husband. Razzak and Anowar Hossain's Characters are The Face of the Revolution in the Movie.

*The Director Zahir Raihan is My Favorite Writer. He is also a Great Director and Directed Some great Films like Kancher Deyal, Sangam, Behula etc. And Notable Documentary Film Stop Genocide.

*The Music of the Movie is Legendary which was the Credit of Khan Ataur Rahman. Several Songs that were used in the Movie, Which were later gave the Inspiration and Energy to the Mukti Bahini Fighting the Liberation War of Bangladesh. The Songs were "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano (My Brother's Blood Spattered)" - Which was Based on The Language Movement. "Karar Oi Louho Kopat (Those Iron Gates of Prison)" - A poem by the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam turned to Song. "Amar Shonar Bangla (My Golden Bengal)" - A Rabindranath Tagore Song which was Later used As the Bangladeshi National Anthem. That's how Monumental the songs of the Movie is. Also the other songs are Great too, "E Khacha Vangbo ami Kemon kore (How will I Break this Cage)" - A great metaphorical song about the situation of the family members in the household. "Eki Sonar Aloy (In Golden Light)" - A great romantic song. The Singers were also Great.

*The only Problem of this Movie is It's a very Old Film and It is not Well-Preserved. It should be Well Preserved for the Modern Viewers to Watch and Enjoy.

*Well, This Film is my One of the Favorite. It is also the Best Film ever made on the 1952 Language Movement and Arguably the Best Film ever Made in Bangladesh.

This movie has used several monumental songs in it, such as 'Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano' (the anthem which reprises the Language Movement of Bangladesh in 1952), 'Karar Oi Louho Kopat', a poem turned song by the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and now Bangladesh's National Anthem 'Amar Sonar Bangla' which is a Tagore Song (it should be noted that the using of Rabindranath Tagore's literary creations were prohibited by Pakistani rulers, prior to the independence of Bangladesh) and first used in this movie before even getting considered as the future anthem of the nation.
