The La Llorona Curse

I went into this movie with high hopes, i read about it on a found footage page, and it had high reviews. But boy was that wrong! The audio is completely horrible, goes from almost no sound at all, to extremely loud, just like others said. They try to add in creepy music to set tone and the sound completely changes. It's actually kind of ridiculous to be honest, and the movie is god awful. But who needs sound or a good movie, I just watch it so I can stare at Gabrielle Santamauro..(Andrea). She's super hawtttt. I could literally stare at her all day long So yeah, maybe that's the reason it got good reviews was for the same reason, they were crushing on Gabrielle Santamauro too. So I mean, at least there's that.

Subtitles are definitely needed if you to want to understand what everyone is saying. I'm not sure why but the audio is awful. It's quiet at times and then gets really loud, especially when the suspenseful stuff is happening. It doesn't make sense to me. Also, I enjoy the legend of La Llorona after seeing the La Llorona movie in The Conjuring universe but this one, so I thought this one could be just as good. Especially when I'm a sucker for mockumentary type movies. But this one fell flat for me. Like super flat. Besides the audio issues messing me up and taking me out of the story, I found some of the acting a little too much. I wanted to turn the movie off like 20 minutes in but since it's October and I'm doing a horror movie challenge, I stuck it out.

If you're a shlub like me, you may watch this if you have no life. Either way, the audio SUCKS. Sound will drop to almost zero and then slowly get louder. It happens when they try to overlay music or some other added sound. Sometimes, it just happens.

As for me, I'm somehow interested in this crap because despite the awful... well... everything, these people got together and filmed their version of the clichéd found footage story, and I support teamwork.

Subtitles are a must, which also means you will have to look up from your phone for a few minutes, and actually watch it.
