The tone of the show is very uneven. It switches between comedy and drama in a jarring manner, and many of the sets look cheap. I was looking forward to a show about black women in a positive light, but it seems that the women in this show based their lives around men and not themselves. Hopefully it will improve in time, but so far, I'm not impressed.

I was really looking forward to a show with real life girl issues. I am so disappointed! It's way too much violence in this show. We don't need a show with so much violence. Why the heck are people committing suicide, getting shot, getting stabbed and fighting so much? Enough already! Can these women just deal with day to day relationships and career issues? This is so bad! I can't believe I watched an entire season of this crap! Why do we need FBI here and fed charges for Gary? Just stop! Go back and watch Living Single, Girlfriends, Being Mary Jane....watch anything to get inspiration from. This here ain't it!

The Leslie and Jasmine characters are just so over the top. Like Jasmine, let go and let God. And are you making Leslie bad or good. She's doing way too much!

Highly disappointed!!!

Every movie or show he makes is nothing but black stereotypes, even if he doesn't cast the black people as drug dealers and prostitutes it is the same stereotypical plot that reads as though he truly dislikes black women.

One star for each of the women is all I could afford to give this.

But I avoid his shows for his terrible writing. I only watched this show because I watched 4 episodes of the L word and I needed to see normal size black women and not wafer thin white women. But true to form the writing sucks; the stories are contrived. TP has great ideas , he needs to hire writers to pull off his ideas.

There's a particular episode that was really bad but this show overall was not what I expected. The storyline is interesting but the acting and script is not the best. The constant awkward pauses and repeated lines...I don't believe it needs to be cancelled, I just believe the lines need to be delivered better or the script needs to be written better...again, the storyline is on point. I'm proud of Tyler Perry for pitching out all of these shows but I hope he knows that his fans would prefer quality over quantity.
