¡Vaya clase!

So this is my first review but as a fan of these two actors I had to comment on this movie. While it wasn't the best film of the year, you find all the elements that makes it a OK French comedy. The actors are quite on point, it has a foreseeable scenario but managed to get me a few laughs and that's all I was expecting. Kudos for Ludovic and Jérôme, special mention to Berno whose acting is not to prove. Thanks for the good laughs!

A waste of a movie and a completely useless movie. Did the Actors even get paid?

Who cares folks unless you just want to display your erudition for everyone to admire. My folks started taking the family to foreign language films in the 1950's and I don't recall one time anybody complaining about the dubbing running the movie. It's just a method of communicating. Darn, I'm from Tejas and I don't complain about dubbing so why should anyone? BTW the movie was great. Laughed all the way through it. French actors are very expressive so it makes no difference to me if they speak French, Swahili or I have to read the scrolling dialog at the bottom. I learned how to do that in high school.

Teased at school, never reached your crush - finally you're grown up, successful, have improved your looks and can show everyone. Yeah... what starts out so promising can't be realized. Unfortunately not quite as funny as hoped. Much is predictable. Actually, the best is already in the trailer. None of the actors stand out, their performances are all rather middle class. In French comedies, the dialog in particular shines, which I always appreciate. Unfortunately, there's nothing worth mentioning here. It ripples along and offers no surprises, so it's quickly forgotten. But there are worse things.

The English voice actors just do not do this film justice. It turns an amazingly funny and, at times, surprisingly deep movie into another C level Hollywood cash grab.

I highly encourage that this be watched in French with English subtitles.
