I wasn't sure what to make of this show at first. But I am so glad I watched it. To me, it was if you crossed Supernatural with a Broadway show. I think the songs were great! It presented a good story line and the acting was great. Though, to be honest, I felt Jordan's performance was way over the top. And I don't mean to knock him. I am sure he is very talented actor. I don't know if the actors actually did the singing in the movie, but if they did, kudos! To me this was actually scripted to be a Broadway show originally instead of a movie. But if it wasn't, they should consider making it one.

An epic and wild ride you won't regret. This movie is unlike one you've ever seen! Camp and vengeance underscored with the most powerful bluesy soundtrack. It was "Hadestown" meets "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" with all of Tarantino's guns... come for the fun and stay for the heartbreak and stunning cinematography in this surprisingly touching story about who and where we come from and who we are destined to be....
Brendan Bradley, Nican Robinson and Jordon Bolden played off one another so beautifully and their brotherly banter was one of the most riveting parts of this film, which says a lot since every moment is action packed. And the music!!! It will stay with me for a long time.

This movie has a killer soundtrack and some really beautiful scenes. The direction is really effective and it added a lot to the story. It was funny and touching, and had characters that were interesting. It was entertaining to see the men live through rules they just hope will guide them on the right path with little evidence that they're right, and do so with such conviction - it really shows the desperation of people to believe in something, that they can somehow be redeemed I guess. A nice look into the folly of man. I really didn't want it to end and I want to see these characters again and spend more time with them.
What a ride! The Devil and the Daylong Brothers is a must see! The brothers, Ish, Abraham, and Enoch are a force to be reckoned with. Their individual stories and shared brotherhood come together to create an action packed dynamic that is a joy to watch. This film is honestly one of the most unique and creative I've seen in years! Along with the action packed sequences, they throw in a musical element that takes the creativity to the next level. The music brings the film to life in a way that I haven't seen on screen in recent memory. I found myself singing the songs in my head long after the credits rolled. I went on to buy the soundtrack, the music alone is amazing! This is a must watch!
This film is so incredibly rich. The characters are deeply developed and riveting and the storyline is engaging and surprising. I've never scene any like this film.
It feels like Quentin Tarantino made "O' Brother Where Art Thou" but in a way that feels intimate and personal. It's the right combination of violence, beauty, folklore, and hope. The action scenes are real and gritty, while the songs compliment there scenes in a way I never saw coming.
The actors embodied their characters in such and powerful way. I felt connected to them.
The story, the songs, and the score are all outstanding. Truly a unique and powerful film.
