2021 - Everything about this show is amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and this show lives up to, if not exceeds that, by a million. Excellent pilot. Emmy award-winning actress Jasmine Cephas Jones and this entire cast are so perfectly chosen. The minds of Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs are seriously put into play with this show, creating such a unique piece of art that we dont get to see often in Hollywood. With just the right amount of comedy and drama, verse and choreography, and hella town refrence, I can tell this series is gonna be good. Bringing the Bay to our screens in the best way possible.
EDIT - 2023: Just watched the first two episodes of the second season. BLINDSPOTTING traverses the realm of television once again. From the movement artistry to the powerful verse and dialogue, this show is truly a love letter to Oakland and continues to outdo itself by being a work so unique and never seen before.

The show takes up very real, not-so-pleasant-to-digest topics affecting sections of the American society and gives it a stylized spin to make it less dark and easier to watch. Almost has the feel of a theatrical production. Towards this end, there is sporadic dancing and singing, spoken word poetry (very reminiscent of the style of 2020 AGT winner Brandon Leake); a good amount of animated, loud, unnatural, verbose dialogues; over-the-top characters, and so on. The show gets full marks for attempting something new, but that comes with the risk of not pleasing everyone. As evidenced by the all-over-the-place ratings on IMDb. The acting is good across the cast. The main lead is great. Helen Hunt does a great job, and is a pleasure to watch. To the reviewer who had a problem with her face, I want to say to them, it is called aging; there is no escaping it. We don't want the starts we have enjoyed watching over the years to hide, so let's welcome them into non-typecast roles for older stars in order to keep enjoying their talent.
Not bad. Refreshing for Starz. Love watching things with POC but I hate when it's street thuggish ghetto stuff. We need more shows with upscale people of color and less shows of this. I get it tho. There is a great portion of us that live this life, but so do many whites. Great show though.
A five star rating may seem low, but seems fitting compared to some of the Starz' greats. The plot and setting of this series are a nice change to the norm of new tv series. I enjoyed the acting and storyline while the characters are actually... in character/dialogue. While I can appreciate a poetic and cultural dance theme, it definitely seems forced and out of place for this particular series. Stick to the main plot, add some more drama and conflict, and this show may have more promise.
Digging the Flashbacks Outfits Music and Dancing. Familiar East Bay Landmarks. Good Luck in Business Girls but Be careful..

- CuriosidadesA continuation of the story and characters from Punto ciego (2018). Starz approached Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal about creating a follow-up to the film. The pair were initially hesitant, but later agreed when they decided to do more of a spin-off than a direct sequel, focusing on Jasmine Cephas Jones's character Ashley instead of their characters Collin and Miles.
