Student Body

The acting is pretty bad...impressively bad honestly. The blonde girl in this movie is one of the worst actresses I have ever seen in my life while everyone else's' acting ranges from okay to bad. There are no likable characters throughout movie. While you cant tell who you are supposed to like its kinda hard to like anyone because they plot is bland and no one is fleshed out. The dialogue sounds like a 50 year old was trying to sound hip and failed. Its a really really boring movie. Its kinda funny how bad it is so that keeps you entertained I guess. Nothing new or interesting but a mindless watch which a lot of us need sometimes.

Soccer is the most boring sport in the world... and yet the most action packed part of this movie is a small clip of one of the teens team losing a game of soccer.

Just another mediocre, gore less, teen "horror" filled with dumb, unlikable characters making dumb decisions to make the dumb plot get to its dumb predictable conclusion.

The mascots mask was ok as far as slasher masks go..

just "meh". But dumb as well... dumbmeh.. dont know this movie lowered my IQ.

"Student Body" is a plotting bore, that fails to be an entertaining slasher, or a gory horror film and almost made me turn it off.

Starting off with the very little good I have, the lead actress does a commendable job for the little material she is given. There are some decent shots with some cool lighting colors. And that's about it.

Now moving on to the very bad. This movie is such a boring slasher that it's almost impressive. This movies only 89 minutes yet it feels like it's 2 hours. The pacing is so slow. It takes nearly 50 minutes for the movie to finally start to be a slasher. And when it is a slasher it's still a slow, and bloodless bore. The movie also has a very cheap feel to it, as almost every death is offscreen. The characters in this movie are some of the worst horror characters I've seen in a while. Not only are their performances bland, but they make some stupid decisions. The movie falls a lot in horror cliches. A character literally falls over nothing and somehow hurts her foot. The movies plot is all over the place. It hardly has a plot. The movie has no tension at all and is basically just people walking around an empty school and talking. That's it. And finally the "twist" of the movie was painfully obvious. This is supposed to be a who-dunnit kind of slasher, and it's completely obvious.

Overall "Student Body" is a boring slasher that has awful characters, cliches, no plot, no scares, or tension, and features one of the most lazy twists I've ever seen.

I'm convinced anything HQS is in will be horrible. How is she getting jobs???? I've seen hookers act better.

It's a shame because there are a lot of GOOD actresses getting turned down for roles because they don't have an "in".

This is the worst slasher movie I've ever watched. At first I didn't even realize that I was watching a slasher movie until 45 minutes later. I thought I was watching a regular teen movie. The killing scenes were so raw (not in a good way) and obvious, just like the plot. There was no mystery about the murderer at all. There was zero plot twist. I was hoping the main character was actually behind all the killings, but no. It was way too wild for the writer or director to make. They had to make it as simple as they can. And the acting.... Boo! None of them can act moderately, except for the guy who played as the murderer. I guess none of them has real acting skills. There's so many weak points in this movie I can poke around, it's not even fun anymore. It's like poking a dead rat.
