Dreaming Hollywood

Turk Matthews came through with a performance reminiscent of Michael Douglas in Falling Down. A man gets everything he ever wanted taken away and exacts his revenge on the world. If Ray was in every scene the movie would have been better.

This is a deadpan comedy in the tradition of Get Shorty and The Big Lebowski, attempting a Tarantino-like weave, but it's rough on the edges and falls short of what it could be with a better lead. Turkey Mathews was okay as the antihero, but lackluster and, even though that's sort of what the role called for, I found him pretty boring. There are some subtleties that are fun to take in, counterbalanced by unnecessary scenes that made this a pretty long movie. Weakly recommended.

Making anything is not easy. Yet this team was able to make an engaging, cinematic, fully produced movie.

Bravo! Your directing, acting, cinematography and overall movie was top notch. Keep it up.

Crime, yet psychotic, humorous. But not unbelievable. Dark but not over done.

2 hours went by fast.

Thought the lead guy Matthews did a great job. Look forward to see what he does next.

I enjoyed this movie full of colorful characters and creative storytelling.
