Definitely not like all typical movies, something different, and yes of course there's room for improvement. Unique story!

The movie was going for a complex, nuanced and theatrical spectacle, however, it was poorly executed. There was no coherency between the scenes or the dialogue of the characters nor was there any character or theme to fall back to that gave the surreal aspect any weight. I can definitely see heart and care in this work, but in all honesty, no aspect of this film was "deep" or thought-provoking, something one would expect from an art film like this. I found myself struggling to piece together what the creators meant to accomplish or meant to convey with every scene before I could even come to my own thoughts and interpretations of it. The acting was sub-par and was kind of distracting. The dialogue and dubbing was a little jarring as well.

All in all it WAS a surreal experience, but not because of the work in and of itself, but because of its incoherent nature.

I was expecting it to be a better experience. It's a good movie, but it doesn't have a particular point. It's not truly surrealistic as some reviewers claim it to be. The movie's more about the perception than the story or screenplay, as there's nothing much happening. Not clear about what it wants to be, arthouse or philosophical.

Not sure the intention of such story, expected more since IMDB rating .

Elam has won three awards at an international award function. It has a very unique and different themed story.
