Carolina Grindhouse: Anderson's Own Horror Movie

How do you review a movie like this?

You can't consider it the same way you would a film that has millions of dollars, 100s of crew members, and years of planning and development.

Kevin has done something that I do not believe anyone else could. He made a full length movie by telling people that lived in a certain area to show up at a certain day and time and be ready to perform. He had an idea of the story but he kept it super flexible and adjusted based on who was available.

Very few entertainment professionals took the bait and so the people that showed up were simply people who wanted to do something fun and interesting. No pre-conceived notions of fame and fortune. Just good folks!

And it shows! You can feel the excitement and nervousness in the project. You can tell everyone was enjoying themselves and wanted to be there!

Great community project that I don't think anyone else would have the intestinal fortitude to try and emulate. And its entertaining!
