I really wanted to like this show, I really did. I like its space adventures, the abundance of cat characters and Akila, who is the best part of the show. Those are all great and the show would have been awesome if not for its one giant flaw..
Cleo herself.
She is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant and reckless protagonists that I've ever seen in any series. And the worst part is that her numerous flaws are seldom questioned and she never learns a lesson from her constant screw-ups that put the people around her in danger.
She is a fish-out-of-water in the future she knows nothing about, yet has little interest in learning about it and ignores the rules and warnings offered to her by the people who inhabit this futuristic world, even if it's her own friends. The number of times she put people in danger due to her recklessness is hard to count as its present in almost every episode. Yes, she is supposed to be an entitled princess as per her background, but that doesn't justify her being rewarded for her poor behavior, not to mention her "chosen one" status and unexplained martial arts and marksmanship skills which put her above the rest of the characters, despite most of them being trained in combat.
The problem with Cleo is that she is given everything without having to work for it and she doesn't grow as a person throughout the show despite her many mistakes, her attitude simply remains the same regardless of how many times it puts her and the people around her in danger. It would be one thing to have a deeply flawed character in a story aimed at adults, but in a show for kids a main character like that is downright dangerous, as it creates a terrible role model for the kids to look up to.

I love this show Cleopatra in Space in the season 3 finale Octavian has finally take control of the Nile Galaxy and Octavian is actually Cleo's old friend Gozi who got corrupted by the Sword of Kebechet.
In season 4 I have some ideas like about how Cleo and her friends will save the universe from Octavian's forces, will Levista appear to Khensu and be together again, will Cleo ever return to the past and be with her family and how is Cleo and a golden lion connects to saving the galaxy?
So, we ask a favor to renew the series to Netflix to conclude the adventures of Cleopatra if she restores balance of the galaxy of her friends and return her back to her timeline. Also add Egyptian gods to the series because that will give viewers a chance to appreciate Egypt culture.

There are a number of cartoons for kids that parents can sit and enjoy with their children together. This is not one of them. It's not bad really. The character designs are enjoyable, the acting is very good, and for what it is the music is perfect. The problem is the direction, pacing, and editing where this falls short. It's not just that parts feel rushed and others linger too much. It's that half the time it feels like something really important was skipped over or cut. I've re-watched the first 2 episodes twice and each time I'm left waiting for a "2 days ago" cut-away scene that will explain what's missing, but it never comes. My guess is that while boarding and table reading this, whenever someone might have said "wait, how did we get here?" someone else responded "who cares, it's just a stupid show for dumb kids, they won't even be paying attention." And maybe they're right, but if they're expecting a show about teenagers to be watched by actual teenagers, they're in for a rude saturday morning awakening.
We got a lot of Cleopatra representations through the years but none like this one.
Cleo traveled a lot to let us see how her very far future is, it mixes perfectly the old ancient Egipt mythology and "magic" with sci-fi elements. Everything is familiar to our look but also makes them look very different. The design of characters is gorgeous, unique in each one but they kept the egiptian look on most of the humans and very vraiated on the aliens. The top is the music, they're mixes of egiptian music with mother beats and they fit well with the action sequences. It also uses a very smooth humor based on visual gags and sometimes in puns depending on situation.
But is not perfect, the rythm sometimes brokes making it feeel slower that it should be; the episodes are 21 minutes long but they feel a bit longer than they should be and also animation sometimes do takes steps back and looks clunky, also the only voice i don't actually like it's Brian's... it sounds way too squicky that it should.
It is not the perfect space odyssey, but it's very lovely to see that this kind of work are done, recommended watch.

When we think of things like Egypt we all know the parts like Pyramids, Camels, Mummies, Cats, Pharoahs but most importantly Cleopatra.
However unlike the Cleopatra that we know in real life and other entertainment media. Cleopatra in Space focuses on the younger version of Cleopatra before she became a queen but then all of a sudden she got sucked into the portal after finding a tomb which she traveled in time and was stuck in the future where she is the chosen one and the only person to save the day.
To be honest I don't even know anything much about Egyptian culture For example scene that was served in the cantina scene didn't show actual Egyptian cuisine or is it just me? However, I love this Sci-Fi cartoon show.
The show is such absolutely underrated gem.
