American Gospel: Christ Crucified

Eye-opening, thought-provoking treatise into many controversial subjects whose ponderance is long overdue in cinematic form. Theologians of all stripes (Christians and atheists) provide necessary context to the debate. Well worth the $5 rental from Vimeo.

Loved the first doc they made, enjoyed this even more. There is some real meat and potatoes theology here, contrasted with dissenters of orthodox Christianity who express themselves in their own words. I appreciated the participation of the people who while disagreeing, seemed to engage in good faith. I grant that the run time is daunting, but I was very involved throughout the film. Highly recommend.

This movie/documentary is one of the best representations of what Christianity is all about.

This documentary so powerfully and thoughtfully examines some of most important issues the Church is facing today. I loved the first documentary, "American Gospel: Christ Alone". This one is just as good, if not better! These are the films the Church needs! Thank you Brandon and team!

Disgusting. Slanderous. Accusing. No thorough evidence. Partnering with the spirit of accuser of the brethren. Carelessly slandering men and women of God. Not telling the full stories, ripping statements out of context, and straight up lying. Truly a disgrace. Truly heartbreaking.

This doc accomplishes nothing for the Gospel and only pushes the promotion of the strictest evangelical sect of christianity and condemns anyone that thinks even slightly differently. Which is funny, because it is claiming to fight against the "american gospel" but what it is trying to declare as the gospel...is a gospel that literally IS of America! Not the original and full truth of the Gospel in the Bible.

Harden hearts, no compassion, no heart of God, just offense and carless. I am convinced that many people in this doc would condemn and slander the very Apostles in the Bible themselves if they were still around, and even Jesus Himself.

I love every one of these people that made this and is involved in it from bottom of my heart, and pray that God would open your eyes to your deception and false accusations. You have partnered with the enemy without even realizing and call it in the name of God.
