An Egyptian attempt into superhero genre, inspired by Hollywood blockbusters like IRON MAN or CHAPPIE.
Story wise it was quite messy with an annoyingly awkward & extremely shy character on the lead (the engineering college student who invents Mousa, the robot). It seems like the team behind the film wasn't much sure of the idea and how to actually plot & execute it with a sensible & engaging approach.
Though there's a college professor who was kinda against him for some lame reason but there was actually no clear antagonist in this film. Although there was a plot element that could have been use as a tool to make it interesting; just for a change, by turning it into an anti-superhero or vigilante film (!)....like a evil group of people gets hold of that robot and somehow manipulates its creator (Yehia) to serve their interest only, resulting the thin line between right & wrong, justice or plain vengeance eventually gone blurry. At the end it would be the protagonist's journey to rectify his mistakes, finally make some better decisions and becomes the hero that he deserves to be.

Great acting everyone did a great job portraying they characters, the graphics were really good (but looked unrealistic in certain shots), there are very small plot holes and the scenario had tiny mistakes, but none of those mistakes affect your experience, there were beautiful shots and challenging scenes. I highly recommend it and I can guarantee you that you will enjoy it.
The story of the movie is really a good one but in my opinion, directing and editing have destroyed the whole movie. I felt like I was watching an unfinished release of the movie that a music video clip would tell a more solid story. I appreciate the idea of making something new to the Arabic cinema screen, however, that doesn't allow you to make it in a badly neglected way in 2021!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the new upcoming movies under this series.

The performance of Karim is fantastic. Really, he is the son of his father. His father is not died. Ib comparison with the lovely actor in Egypt with reompeated performance, may be he has no fan like Karim Abdul Aziz of Ahmad Al Saka or Ahmed Iz but but karim Mahmmod Abdul Aziz is creative and changes his roles. In each movie or serie he has a different character. One of the top. The movie should be longer. Visual effects should have been beter. But generally it is very good movie.
An unexpected film from Egypt. Clear cultural differences in characters and character development. It's funny to read the other reviews here. So many obviously fake supportive reviews. That being said it is an interesting and original idea and I imagine a bit controversial in the country since their own government is their main enemy today. I don't think Egypt wants Mousa coming after the corrupt government and religious leaders who betrayed Arab Spring.
I can't really comment on the acting since I am watching subtitles. There is a young lady who is one of the leads who is gorgeous and has star power. Honestly didn't get her name but can see her having a career far beyond this little movie and Egypt.
