Knowing nothing at all going in, I wasn't expecting to make it through more than ten minutes. Since adult animation's golden days, there have been a lot of attempts and most series coast by on generic plot devices and trying to hard to be edgy. Then everyone and their dog had to go mind-bendy, multversy, over-the top. But this one surprised me. It did it's own brand of mind bending, without the over-the-top Rick & Morty Meet American Dad smoothie recipes everyone else uses.
I wasn't expecting to care about the outcome or care about the characters, This happened on multiple occasions in the second episode alone. I figured I might as well add a review because the one that's featured here at the top of IMDB discounts that altogether, looking for style over substance. This is one of the few adult animated sitcoms that uses it's gore and swearing appropriate to context. It's a show about demon-life. It doesn't fall back on edge for the sake of edge. Now not all main characters are all that likable, some of the supporting characters do seem kind of thrown together, but the leads are strong, and there is room to grow. Even some of the most critically beloved predecessors had more growing pains than that at the beginning. Some of them never even grew out of that (looking at you, Futurama).
This is one that should be given a chance to see what they can pull off in a few seasons and take it from there. There is a lot that can be done when the writing team has their own voice in a crowded niche.

Some dude gave it a 1 just because it was a remake or even a copy of an old animated series.. who cares? I gave it a watch and it was unbearable because of the animation and just wasn't that interesting unlike this version named "Little Demon" which is both funny and addicting to watch at the same time. They took an old trash series and made it new and fresh.
See this is a more cleaner and funnier remake of it. I can see loads of potential in this series and ticks all the boxes for me, I'll be waiting patiently for the rest of the episodes and I'm glad I caught this show early.
Episode 1 came off to a good start but episode 2 is when you start to get used to all the characters and the storyline Itself, makes you wonder what is going ton happen in the next episode.

Great show.
At first I was a bit disapointed because I saw the 18+ rating, and expected it to be for adults. But the amount of gore and horror was very limited. I guess it's the occational nudity that does it, then? I would say the main audience is teenagers and I have recommended the series to my own kid (14 years).
That aside it's a nice, fun, gripping, and quite nice show, with some great voices and a nice visual style.
The dynamic between the main characters is snappy, funny and at times heartwrenching. I think I was 3 or 4 episodes in before I realised who the voice actors were when I looked it up, because I thought I could recognise some of them.
I'm already looking forward to the next season.

Being a fan of Rick and morty and animation in general, I've been wanting to try this show for awhile. I ended up watching all eps in one day and actually liked it. You can tell, like the beginning of a lot of shows, there still coming into their own and can become much better overtime.
I love the voice actors, animation, comedy, etc. The only thing I'd change would be focusing more on Chrissy and figuring out her family and powers. I really like the parents, especially the mom, but would want a little more focus on her. I feel like the guy friend is cool too but the best friend character has the tendency to be cliche in a lot of shows so maybe not as much focus?
Also the "odd" character figuring out the "normal life" feels overused as well in general. Nothing they've done so far is boring or bad, I'd just be curious to see more of the demonic stuff and issues she and the rest of the family deals with as well.
I am looking forward to new episodes every week and excited for the drama.
Overall it has really good potential and excited for more.

Little Demon is a sort of "coming of age" story about a girls who learns she is the offspring of Satan and a Wiccan cultist. It's like if the mother in Rosemary's Baby was Lara Croft and dated the King of Hell, and the baby was some weak attempt of tv producers to relate to modern teenagers.
There's some clever humor placed around each episode so far, and you gotta like some of the characters, especially some of the demons, including the right-hand man of Satan, who's an arguably cute bartender snake with arms, and who speaks like Elmo from Sesame Street attempting to speak fluent Mandarin.
The world in which is takes place is rather strange. Unholy, supernatural events regularly take place in this universe, but nobody seems to care. Some of the humor is forced, and it's quite obvious who the target audience is, and oftentimes it feels more like a cash-grab to be the next "hit adult animation show for teenagers because teenagers are like, totally into this stuff".
It's still fun so far, and you gotta appreciate the celebrity cameos. It tries, and often too hard, to be funny and relatable, but in its own oddly charming sense, it's rather entertaining.
One of my biggest beefs with the show, is that it casts Satan as a sympathetic being, who deep down, has a heart of gold. This is absolute bullcrap, since Satan is the very center of evil and betrayal. The show is set up for a major personal redemption with everyone in his life, including his daughter, his daughter's mother, and even his reptilian servant (serpent?) friend. But I'll eat my words and have a lot more respect for this show if it ends with Satan being the bad guy who has always had it out for himself, but the way this show is going, I'm not going to hold my breath.
