The Simpsons Ride

Even when I was not a huge Simpsons fan like I am now, when I rode this ride for the first time six years ago, I fell in love with it. I know my rating is very over the top and biased, but this is coming from a HUGE Simpsons fan. What do ya expect? It is also coming from a HUGE Universal fan as well.

This ride gets a MAJORLY bad rep for how it was made because of how many people easily feel motion sickness from this ride. I, myself, never feel sick on this ride, unless I constantly ride it over and over again over six times. I will say from experience and from what people tell me, if you do not understand The Simpsons well and especially the plot within this ride, yeah you will probably feel sick.

Also, this ride is NOT smooth! Many will say you get tossed and bumped around, which yes you will. It's a motion simulator, duh... but it does have flaws that I believe they have had plenty of time to consider fixing with the close 15 years this ride has been in operation. The surround wraparound screen and sound definitely needs updating, since sometimes the ride will feel pretty out of sync, probably what causes many riders motion sickness.
