I just saw this movie at the Panama International Film Festival and I couldn't believe what my eyes saw tonight.
This film is focused on the counter-cultural experience lived by a trio of talented and very young Dominicans who express their emotions through dance.
The director brilliantly develops a reflective dialogue about how society is responsible for isolating those who dare to swim against the current or "common thinking". Apart from touching other topics on a psychological level.
Within this experiment where the viewer inadvertently remains inside the skin of the protagonists, there is not a second wasted. Neither on a technical level, nor on an artistic level.
I must add that the last minutes of the film were the most exquisite visual and auditory experience that I have been able to have during this year 2021.
I do not know if this is the director's first film, but I hope you know that that boy with long hair and glasses who could barely speak on the Q&A time after seeing the film, is the same one who is behind this screen writing the first review of this beauty feature film.
