Mad As Hell

Mad as Hell, starring Robert Parham & Cynda Williams is a powerful low budget movie (rated NR) is scheduled for release, September 2022.

Imagine a family man, Michael played by (Robert Parham), coming home to find his wife and daughter shot to death. What would you do?

Will you let the police department just handle it? Or would you decide to take matters into your own hands when you have been named the prime suspect.

Eventually, he teams up with Detective Briggs, a beautiful veteran actress (Cynda Williams), who also was the singer in Mo Better Blues with Denzel Washington.

In this movie, Briggs has marital problems, works with an incompetent group of detectives, also a corrupt police chief.

Michael and Detective Briggs have a common goal to find and track down the people responsible for killing his family.

The chemistry between Michael and Detective Briggs is very noticeable in this film. They continue to gather evidence and more clues which brings them closer to the killers. What happens along the way is very entertaining and a full of surprises.

If you like movies where the underdog tries to take matters in their own hand, regardless of the consequences, then you will love this heartwarming drama about a man that's MAD AS HELL; looking for revenge.

First- Parents, there is some action and a bit of language, but nothing graphic to hide the kids from. Second-Every work of art should be judged based on the artist's intent and as a result I give this series a top rating of ten stars out of ten stars. It's an independent production that knows its audience. Robert Parham gives it a "kitchen sink" approach similar to early indie auteur projects from Spike Lee or Michael Mann. The story was pretty good, it plays like an action movie, of course, but there's a lot of emotions and dramatic performances. I was very anxious on how it would end. Always great to see the Bay on screen!
