Wanted to write this review after we saw this great movie. Wendy Wilkins truly depicted the struggles that can go on in our society! The actors really took over and became their characters 100%. It is well worth seeing. It is funny my family never agrees on liking something equally! But this movie we were all a captivated audience. Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo along with the rest of the cast nailed it! And, I think that was Wendy in a spectacular role creating the glue that cemented the entire movie. Without giving too much away there is a sequence and a true artifact that is stunning! Well worth it. Brian B.

This movie was written and directed with a lot of passion. I feel like the filmmaker knows her stuff and overcame all odds to tell this story. It's also a lot of fun to see Danny Trejo play a priest rather than the heavy. I felt he brought a lot to the role and he is believable! I hope to see him in more roles like this. The locations are great and the photography is stunning. I personally love when filmmakers tell a story that they know about intimately and tell it from their heart. I hope that Wendy Wilkins gets more chances to tell her stories and hone her craft. It's still very tough for female filmmakers but there is a great need for their stories to be told.
Amazing and suspenseful movie! Wendy Wilkins delivers again. Great cast-Danny Trejo and Shannon Elizabeth were excellent. Based on a true story about sex trafficking at the border, it's powerful and eye-opening. Even though I usually avoid drama and violence, this one was gripping and inspiring. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This was action packed and Eric Roberts was at his best. Danny Trejo was incredible. The film shines a spotlight on human trafficking and the female anti-heroes turned heroes were wonderfully drawn out and portrayed in believable fashion. I enjoyed the flick and would say it is worth the viewing pleasure. Independent films like this one deserve all the attention they can get and it can't be understated enough how well done this was done especially for a film with Wendy Wilkins taking on directorial, producing, and writing hats all at the same time. Get out there, support indie film, and thank me later!

In our increasing digital age, it's refreshing to see a movie that deals with humanity and real issues facing our world and communities. I find myself gravitating towards films that are mostly live action with little to no digital effects and crime is one of my favorite genres. This movie delivers, with phenomenal acting, beautiful cinematography and massive heart. Looking forward to seeing more from director Wendy Wilkins. I also like the casting, seeing Danny Trejo play a noble priest, Eric Roberts as a cop and Shannon Elizabeth as a vigilante with a moral compass. The fight scenes are so realistic and gritty, combined with the story, make this movie incredibly hard hitting and powerful.
