NEITHER BAD NOR AMAZING MOVIE

Concept was thrilling but the truth unveil was very poor. Many loop holes are there. Many unnecessary comedy and heroism was there which could be altered.

Screenplay could have been better. Writer is best but again the unveil of truth could be more better.

Wrong time comic scenes are there which could be avoided.

Watched the movie but due to the loopholes lot of questions in mind still there.

I feel director could improvise in a better way before releasing. I am not saying it is bad movie but the expectations were very high and the truth unveil resulted poor.

Hope to see more better contents in near future.

I like Arulnithi movies for his silent thriller acting... while other heroes are engaged with their commercial movies... Arulnithi always give silent yet superhit movies... That's Arulnithi's style which I like more... In diary one guy surprised me with his emotional acting... who literally made me cry in the climax scene...nobody can match mother's love,it has been beautiful portrayed in this movie... Hey Thanikai you did a great job man, Loved your acting... You have a great future ahead... I wish to see you in more and more movies ... Best wishes for all your upcoming projects - ur new fan.

A good movie with nice twists.

The movie starts with ideal elements for a fantastic thriller plot. Travels like a horror movie and ends like a sentimental one.

Most of the movie happens in a bus and is related to a hairpin bend on the Ooty hills. Starts like a typical thriller with a death scene at the beginning. Several murder incidents happen on the same day. The director does a great job of building up things and deviates your attention from the main component of the movie.

There was a time when I was sitting confused. I didn't know how this movie is going to travel. I'm usually a person who is successful at guessing things. I was only able to realize what is happening like 20 minutes before the ending. Director manages to keep you thinking.

It might not be a must-watch movie but surely an enjoyable one. The budget constraints are showing up in some visuals. Arulnithi carries himself very well. He is becoming an impressive actor. I am starting like his scripts. The man has a great sense of what good writing is.

Overall, worth every minute of your time. If you're scared of horror movies (like me), don't worry. This one is not very scary.

A super engaging thriller that keeps you gripped till the end. Typical start with as investigation, bit lagged before the interval, took racily and engaging to the climax. The writing has been done intensely, best for the supernatural but could have done more or skipped the romance, jumpscares, and comedy parts. The emotions have been well done and loved the way he has connected everything. Though some scenes were predictable, the twist at the end was perfect, making us forget the flaws in the first half. Arulnithi's performance was top and the soundtrack was at its best, which made it intense in many scenes, yes the cinematography was good too. Color grading and Visual Effects could have been done more better. I loved the way Innasi Pandian made the script. Overall it's a good watch.

Diary is added to one of the serious mystery thrillers in Tamil cinema. The thread here is little complicated, but well potrayed. But it's not perfect or a great one. Flaws like action, unnecessary romantic events of hero and the lead actress, not so funny comedy scenes etc. But even in these negatives, what keeps the movie engaging is the thrilling element in the story. The movie is basically narrated as a rookie inspector of police being assigned to a crime case which happened 16 years ago in the vast areas of ooty. But the unthinkable events happens towards the interval of the movie and can be said that the movie actually picks the real pace from there only. Acting performances felt like average from everyone including arul nidhi. Decent VFX works as well. But still, the story backs all these flaws in the movie. The makers has put the effort not to confuse thr audience in the huge number of events and they were successful in doing that. A good watch. Go for it.
